Belgian Privacy Act of December 8, 1992
The Ark undertakes to respect the Belgian Act of December 8, 1992 (as amended by the Act of December 11, 1998) regarding privacy protection concerning the treatment and processing of personal details (the “Privacy Act”), in conformity with the European Directive 95/46/EG of October 24, 1995 (the “Privacy Directive”).

Required and optional personal details
In the context of using the Service, you can be invited to fill out digital forms / questionnaires in which certain fields are required / obligatory to carry out the Service. This will be clearly indicated. The other fields are optional. The aim of the optional fields is to allow The Ark to contact the user more quickly and / or to obtain information that is relevant in the context of the Service.
Method for collection of personal details
Personal details are collected and treated based on questionnaires that need to be filled in. Any personal details The Ark collects based on the Service, are provided voluntarily. In no way whatsoever a person is obliged to provide any information. Minors who want to use the Service need to be supervised by at least one of their parents. The Ark is not liable if minors use the Service without the required parental control.

Personal details can only be collected and processed by The Ark for one of the following goals:
- for the registration and participation in the Service (including but not limited to Contests);
- for research and statistical goals;
